JOHN ANGIER is a composer / arranger who writes music for Film and TV. Raised in Hudson, Quebec, a small town in Canada, John studied piano from the age of 6 and eventually got into keyboards and playing in rock bands in his teens. He went on to study classical piano and Jazz at The Crane School of Music where he discovered a love for composing, and a love for electronic music. He continued this while doing a Masters in Music Technology and film music at NYU.
He's been nominated for a Canadian Gemini, an Annie Award and has won an Emmy Award for his score to the childrens show Bubble Guppies. He's written orchestral arrangements for albums by Dionne Warwick, Joss Stone, Donny Osmond and works with Academy Award winning Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz as a studio engineer, arranger and producer.
